Homemade Pizza!!

Being on study break has given me even more time to indulge in my passion for food.

Unfortunately this also means I want to make, bake and cook everything I see that I think might tickle my tastebuds!

I normally cook for just me and my partner, and sometimes change the recipe to suit, with either just what I can afford or whats in the cupboard already.

I used a pizza dough recipe from this website www.annamariavolpi.com/pizza_recipe.

Was a great straight forward, easy to follow recipe with good photos. It also only requires you to use normal flour, dry active yeast and olive oil. So simple!

I made a half parmesan and half pesto and it made the whole house smell devine!!

I was going to make two bases, one for me and one for my partner, but got rather hungry so I just made both! For the first pizza I decided to make a more adventurous version of a Hawaiian Pizza. I used ham, pineapple, caspicum, red capsicum and feta. It was great and was a lot tastier than your average Hawaiian!

The other flavour was chicken, camembert, red onion, and fresh parmesan and rosemary. Turned out to be really flavoursome! The base was nice and crispy with lots of flavour, better than take out thats for sure!

Just using what you like and what you have in your fridge is what I think is the best way to achieve the yummiest home made pizzas! Godetevi il vostro pizza!!
